Completed in 2023 and featured in Luxury Pools Magazine as well as the cover of Atomic Ranch in 2025, the Potomac Pool House began as a simple utilitarian structure intended to serve the adjacent pool. However, the concept quickly evolved into a refined architectural statement—one that redefined the entire outdoor environment with a seamless blend of functionality and design.Thoughtfully positioned to frame the pool, the structure establishes multiple zones for relaxation and activity across the backyard. In addition to its storage capabilities, the pool house includes an indoor sitting and dining area that opens to a covered outdoor dining space through a large pivoting door. This covered area, topped by a roof deck, offers elevated views of the pool and adjacent pickleball court, encouraging layered experiences throughout the site. A nearby fire pit creates a cozy gathering spot for evenings under the stars.With its clean lines, subtle material palette, and understated elegance, the design complements the main residence while integrating harmoniously into the surrounding landscape. The result is a sophisticated yet highly functional addition that elevates the experience of outdoor living.
