1101 K Street was an office repositioning project located at the heart of Washington DC. The existing building which was beginning to appear a bit dated for its time was transformed to compete in a crowded DC office building marketplace. Upgrades to the entrance and lobby experience enlivened the pedestrian experience while the addition of strategically designed modern amenities including a fitness facility, tenant lounge and coffee bar, and a state-of-the-art conference center, in order to appeal to today's tenants. Improvements that were made throughout the lobby area and the building interior, prioritize natural lighting, acoustics, and organic textures with plants and ergonomic furniture for a dynamic and relaxing workplace experience. The result has been a luxury office building with a more hospitable entry and amenities package that raises the bar for boutique-inspired commercial and work spaces in the DC region.
